A new portrait in coloured pencil

‘The Pink Scarf', Coloured pencil on board; my own rendering after an oil painting by George Scott Ingles (1874-1952) A.R.C.A. My husband fell in love with this painting when he was a young man, but couldn't afford to buy it. He has never forgotten it, so for his birthday last year I created this version for him from a black and white photograph he found featured in the catalogue for the original auction. I wonder who bought it and where the original painting is now?
